Treatment of females at work
Women are usually the house maker, with only males going out to work. However those who choose to work face discrimination by their male colleagues or superiors.
They are used to getting talked down on.
Customers often mistake their act of politeness as something more. For example if you smile at a customer (usually a male) he would attempt to pull you into his car. (Ellick, 2010)

jobs females hold
In Karachi, women have been moving into the service sector, however this is limited. In other parts of Pakistan, women are still being relegated to their homes, and jobs which they are able to take are those of traditional labour settings, such as seamstresses in stitching factories consisting of only women. Even so, these women receive salaries which are half of those in the service industry. Even Kentucky Fried Chicken, one of the most trailblazing of companies, employ mostly male workers, which add up to 90%. In Pakistan society, women interacting with male strangers is an improper act.
