Linking things with poverty
Our group has chosen to work on poverty in Pakistan. As there are many possibilities as to why a large percentage of the population lives under the nation's poverty line of Rs 200 annually, we have chosen to link poverty with both the locals' lifestyles and the environment they live in.
Due to gender inequality, religious discrimination and terrorism, the country's economy has also been affected. As the country does not know how to use their large population to their advantage, a lot of talents have been wasted, hence no improve in Pakistan's income and the poor continue to remain in their poverty cycle.
Environmental issues such as the decline in the quality of some of the country's ecosystem due the pollution and natural disasters have caused a drop income for poorer farmers that rely on agriculture.
